Reading and Homework for Thursday, Dec. 2
Please read Strayer, 491-507 for class on Thursday. We will discuss the American and French Revolutions at that time, and complete the forgery of our 16th century letters. Also, please prepare the following list of id. terms for Thursday:
Happy Thanksgiving!
I just wanted to let you all know that I'm very pleased with the way our primary source letters turned out. I hope you had some fun with them today. I know it was a frustrating, confusing assignment at times, but you all did a great job persevering. Have a great break. No homework for next week; use your time to eat turkey, get rest, and come back rejuvenated.
Plans for Friday, Nov. 19th
There is no reading planned for Friday. If you'd like to make some final changes/improvements to your primary source letter you might want to work on that before you set it down in ink. Also, remember we will have a quiz on Friday. I promised you that I would give you a review sheet, but I forgot to hand it out. If you'd like to stop by my room and pick one up, there on my desk. Or, I inserted a link below for your convenience. The quiz will consist of five of the identification terms on the review sheet.

Reading and homework for Wednesday, 11/17
Please read Strayer, 482-487. Also, please bring to class your final submission for the primary source project. This will be your final chance to submit this assignment, so polish it up as best you can.
Reading for Monday, Nov. 15th
Please read Strayer, 477-482. There is no homework associated with this reading, but we will be taking a quiz on Chapter 16 in class on Friday.
Reading and Homework for Wednesday, Nov.10th
Please read Strayer, 477-482. Also, remember that your component of the letter to the European king is due on Wednesday. Please try to make this a serious assignment in that you incorporate some knowledge that you've learned about your region, but also have some fun with it too. Remember that there is no right or wrong to this type of assignment, it's creative, like art. Good Luck!
